Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking his help in resolving issues between the Centre and the AAP Government.

In his letter, Kejriwal said issues between the Delhi and Central Governments must be resolved and added that he is 'willing to walk an extra mile' to achieve it.

"I don't believe there is any issue which can't be resolved by two well meaning governments in the interest of Delhi," Kejriwal said.

"All that is required is a little open mindedness and primacy for the welfare of the people of Delhi," he added.

Earlier, the Delhi Cabinet had sought an answer from the Centre as to what rules allowed Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung to declare the orders of the elected city government null and void.

The Cabinet also decided to seek the advice of the Ministry of Home Affairs on whether Jung could pass such orders against a democratically-elected government of Delhi under the Constitution of India.
