Kelly Brook's prime time series 'One Big Happy' has been slaughtered after just six episodes due to poor ratings, turning the actress' American dream into a nightmare.
An NBC spokesman confirmed that the show was just not coming back, as it was unable to gross a total viewership of three million, and just 2.92 million Americans had tuned in to see Kelly's character marry her lover's lesbian best friend, the Mirror reported.
A US TV source revealed that it would be hard for Brook to shake off such a dramatic flop from her career.
In addition, critics also savaged the show. Denver Post television critic Joanne Ostrow declared the show as one big misfiring.
The 35-year-old actress, who was expecting a long career in the States after this show and was on a nation-wide PR blitz to increase awareness about the program, is now a bare hand.
