The iconic Kensington Oval is all set to host West Indies' first-ever day night Test match during the Caribbean side's three-match series against Sri Lanka, beginning June 6 at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad.
The day-night fixture will be the third Test, which will take place on June 23 in Barbados.
Earlier, the third Test of the series was scheduled to be played at Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in St. Lucia while the second match was to be played at Kensington Oval.
However, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) suggested that there has been shift in venues and that St. Lucia would now host the second Test from June 14, ESPNcricinfo reported.
It would also be the first time that Sri Lanka would play in the longest-format of the game at the Kensington Oval.
Meanwhile, it will be Lanka's first Test tour of the Caribbean island in 10 years, having played their last match in March 2008.
West Indies have already been involved in two of the eight day-night Tests played since the first one between Australia and New Zealand in November 2015.
