Secretary of State John Kerry holds an approval rating higher than that of both President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden, a new poll has found.
The Gallup Poll found that nearly 60 percent of Americans approve of the job Kerry is doing, as compared to just 31 percent who disapprove.
According to Politico, the poll found that Kerry's numbers top both that of Obama and Biden.
Nearly 51 percent of Americans approve of the way Biden is handling his job, with 39 percent disapproving.
The poll found that only 45 percent approved of Obama's handling of his job, as compared to 51 percent who disapproved.
Gallup said that Kerry has been secretary of state since February, maintaining an active presence on the international stage almost from the start.

It added that in addition to his high profile in the Syria matter, he has been involved in trying to restart Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, and asking China for assistance with North Korea.
The poll found that Kerry and Obama have nearly identical approval ratings from Democrats, 81 percent for Kerry, 80 percent for Obama.
According o the poll, just nine percent of Republicans approve of the president, as compared to 36 percent who approve of Kerry.
