As Kesha prepares to make a comeback amid her ongoing legal battle with her former producer Dr Luke, she stopped by 'Good Morning America' to talk about her "super-personal" new album and its impact on her life.

The 30-year-old pop star gave an emotional performance of her first track 'Praying' from the album 'Rainbow,' her first major record in five years, which leaked online just days before the official drop.

Before taking the stage, the 'Tik Tok' hit-maker said, "I feel so much right now, I can't even. I was backstage, dancing and punching stuff and crying, and like, I'm just so many emotions, all the time right now."

She then fought back tears while talking about her new music. "It's so personal. I've written every song on this album and they're all so personal and this song, I think, is just really important because it talks about me, personally, going through something very hard-lots of very hard things, making it through, not giving up and finding empathy on the other side, which is incredibly hard sometimes."

Talking about her album, Kesha said "I think this record has quite literally saved my life. And I hope you guys like it and I hope you can hear it and I hope it helps people."

Kesha sued Dr Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, in 2014, accusing him of drugging, raping and verbally, physically and emotionally abusing her. However, he has vehemently denied the allegations.
