Reacting sharply to the statement made by Pakistan Army chief Raheel Sharif, accusing Indian Armed Forces of violating ceasefire, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs of India Kiren Rijiju on Friday said that our forces conduct themselves in a responsible way.
"Indian forces don't violate ceasefires. Our forces conduct themselves in a responsible way" said Rijiju.
Earlier in the day, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh downplayed Pakistan Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif's 'warning' to India with regard to alleged ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC), and stated that India is ready to defend its borders.
On Thursday, a release by the Pakistan army quoted General Sharif as warning India of a 'befitting response'.
