New Delhi, Mar. 31 (ANI): Australian actor Nicholas Brown, who grabbed the eye balls with his Bollywood movie 'Kites,' will be soon seen in a psychological thriller directed by Mukesh Jadhav.
Talking about his role in the upcoming flick that also stars Shreyas Talpade and Makarand Deshpande in the lead roles, the 36-year-old actor said, "After playing the role of a villain so often, it is refreshing not playing one this time. My character of John is more bohemian, hippie, someone who likes nature, gardening and is down to earth. Unlike my other characters, my role is that of an expat which will require me to speak in Hindi throughout the movie with a little bit of English."
Further taking about his journey in the tinsel town, the 'UNindian' star said, "This film is actually my fourth Bollywood venture. After Kites, I played an Eco-warrior in the indie Bollywood film 'Love You To Death' with the amazing actress Yuki Ellias her father Rafeeq Elias. I have also played the love interest of Ishika Motwane in Atul Mongia and Vikramaditya Motwane's yet to be released film 'Awake' along with playing a negative role as Tannishta Chaterjee's love rival in the film 'Unindian'."
"Both these are yet to be released. After 'Kites' I scored a job as the lead singer of a funk band in Los Angeles and the adventurer in me couldn't resist the opportunity to be recording and performing live in Hollywood. I have a flat in Bandra and divide my time between Mumbai, Sydney and LA. I do hope that this film will open some more doors in Bollywood. I would love to work with Ashutosh Gowariker, Shekhar Kapur, Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar. It was such an amazing experience to work with Anurag Basu in 'Kites'," he added.
Further, talking about his ongoing venture, Brown said that the script of the flick was something different and unusual and this is what attracted him.

The director Mukesh Jadhav had a vision for it to be shot very creatively and that's what really sealed the deal.
Revealing that originally he had to play a negative character in the film, the actor said that he ended up taking on the role of John as he thought he was similar to him and that he suited more for the role of a Bohemian husband.
