Former England cricketer Geoffrey Boycott was examined by the New Zealand custom officials at Wellington Airport after being suspected of smuggling grass into the country.
Boycott's golf bag had been thoroughly checked upon his arrival at the airport as New Zealand has strict rules about bringing soil and grass into the country on sporting equipment, News.com.au reported.
Onlookers present at the airport reported that Boycott didn't complain and took the search in good spirits.
