Debutant George Worker's aggressive half-century helped New Zealand secure an 80-run win over Zimbabwe in the sole Twenty20 international played between the two sides in Harare on Sunday.
Replying to New Zealand's score of 198 for five, Zimbabwe were restricted to 118-8,Stuff.co.nz reported.
New Zealand's match-winning performances were Worker's 62 off 38 balls, Scott Styris (66) and Aaron Redmond (63).
Martin Guptill (33), Kane Williamson (26), Luke Ronchi (29) and Colin Munro (23 not out), also contributed to the final Kiwi total.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe spinner Sean Williams took 3 for 28.
New Zealand will next tour to South Africa from August 14, where they will play three ODIs and two T20 internationals.
