Telangana Information Technology minister KT Rama Rao on Thursday meet potential business investors in Shizuoka, Japan.
A team of Telangana Business delegations met potential investors and local administration representatives at Shizuoka Prefecture (state) in Japan.
KTR met business tycoon Osamu Suzuki, Chairman of Suzuki Motor Corporation.
In the meeting, KTR gave a detailed analysis of Telangana government's progressive industrial policies, TS-iPASS, a single-window clearance initiative for investors to Suzuki. He highlighted the opportunities for automobile investors in the state.
KTR and his team also visited the Suzuki Museum at Hamamatsu.
Later, the Telangana Cabinet Minister met Governor of Shizuoka, Kawakatsu Heita, to discussed mutual cooperation between two dynamic states and invited him to visit the state.
In one of the meetings with representatives of Shizuoka bank, KT Rama Rao discussed the opportunities for banking and financial sector in the state of Telangana. Minister said that Telangana has several marquee names in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector and has the requisite talent pool readily available.
Later in the day, Telangana delegation, led by Minister KT Rama Rao, met Yoshitsugu Matsushita of Stanley Electric Co. Ltd, Shigeru Isobe of Sakurai Ltd and representatives of ASTI Corporation.
