'Lady Bird' named best film by National Society of Film Critics

The National Society of Film Critics has named Greta Gerwig directed 'Lady Bird' as the best film of 2017.

According to Deadline, the movie knocked out 'Get Out' and 'Phantom Thread' to secure the position.

'Lady Bird' also took back the trophy in the best director, screenplay and supporting actress categories.

In the best picture category, the film 'Lady Bird' had beat 'Get Out' and 'Phantom Thread', reports Deadline.
