Lalit Modi row: Congress moves adjournment motion in LS

Party also postpones protest against BJP, which it had planned to hold in the House today

Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Veerappa Moily on Wednesday moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha over the Lalit Modi issue.

"We have moved an adjournment motion, let us see whether the speaker is going to permit us to discuss. We are also seeking resignation of Sushma Swaraj ji, Vasundhara Raje and Shivraj Singh Chouhan," Kharge told ANI.

"We want to enlighten the people of the country how things are going, on one side they are telling about clean government and on the other they are not behaving as per their promise," he added.

Meanwhile, the Congress party has also postponed the protest against the BJP, which it had planned to hold in the Parliament premises today.
