Rashtriya Janata Dal Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday described Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as a non-political entity and said he could never become the nation's prime minister of the country. He also said that the BJP is communal.
"Narendra Modi is non-political and he will never become the prime minister and all those people who are trying to portray him as the next prime minister of the country are working to break the nation," said Yadav.
"Who doesn't know that Modi who linked every Muslim to Bangladesh and Pakistan? We have stopped the vengeance of communalism, and we will do it again. There must be only one dream and that should be how we keep all religions intact," he said.
"We are only to going to move forward to control communalism. We have always defeated the BJP, even when they had aligned with the JD-U," he added.
He further said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would have a tough time.
"The AAP is going to have a tough time, as they have given many wrong commitments.
We have seen all this populist strategy, and it is not going to work," said Yadav.
