American professional basketball player Lamar Odom has reportedly hired OJ Simpson's lawyer Robert Shapiro to get him home and dry from possible prosecution following his DUI arrest.

The 33-year old husband of Khloe Kardashian has hired Shapiro, who is known for plea bargaining, after he was caught by cops driving under the influence of both drugs and booze, TMZ.com reported.

It is believed that Odom will have to attend alcohol education classes, and as he refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test, his license will be revoked for a year.
