Lamar Odom's arrest in 1997 for hiring hooker revealed!

Lamar Odom was reportedly put behind bars in 1997 for solicitation of a prostitute in Las Vegas, and estranged wife Khloe Kardashian is apparently unaware of the incident.

According to Radar Online, while on an outing with a pal, the troubled NBA player, who had moved to the Sin City to play basketball for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels that year, approached a woman he believed to be a prostitute.

A source told the publication that when the basketball star solicited the hooker for sex, he was immediately arrested because the woman was actually an undercover cop, and was conducting a sting in the area.

The insider asserted that Odom, who was just in his teens back then, used bad judgment, and was only trying to show off to his pals.

The source believes that the case was eventually dismissed with Odom paying a small fine.

Sources added that Odom's estranged wife Khloe has been absolutely unaware of the prostitution arrest as he didn't feel the need to tell her because it happened so long ago.

Odom was recently arrested on the suspicions of driving under the influence "of both alcohol and drugs".
