Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has said that the 40 billion dollars mega development plan will transform the capital city Colombo into one of the most economically powerful cities in the world like Dubai.
The project is reportedly designed to improve the housing, education and hospitals facilities in par with those in world-class cities.
Wickremesinghe said that the development plan will be carried for 15 years will come into operation under three phases, reports Lanka Page website.
Wickremesinghe said that the Megapolis project woluld help Sri Lankans enjoy all facilities that people in developed cities such as London, Dubai, Singapore and Tokyo enjoy.
