Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Saturday left for South Korea to participate in the annual convention of Rotary Foundation.
The 107th Rotary International Convention will be held from the May 29th till June 1st in Seoul.
Premier Wickremesinghe will be delivering the welcome remarks at the opening ceremony of the convention and on 'The Role of Service Organizations in Both Developing and Developed Countries', reports the Colombo Page.
Apart from the leaders of several countries, more than 50,000 members from over 160 countries are scheduled to attend the convention.
Wickremesinghe is being accompanied by Additional Secretary Saman Athaudahetti and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Sandra Perera in the tour.
