Leona Lewis has opened up about her "depression" and "madness" and gave details about ending her association with Simon Cowell's record label.
Addressing her "beautiful fans", the 'Bleeding Love' singer penned an open letter where she confessed that there have been moments she felt "extremely depressed" where she "got to a place where the downs were outweighing the ups" , the Daily Star reported.
She revealed that constantly worrying about "future, work and how I look" has been "absolutely overwhelming" which makes her "spiral to a dark place", however, she added that she sits quietly and meditates which "helps still the madness".
She also gave details of 2014, calling it her "rollercoaster year", and revealed that she dropped 'Syco' to sign a new deal with Universal's Island Records.
She said that she decided to quit the music company when she was asked to make her fifth album, the follow-up to 2013's Christmas, with Love, and include music which wouldn't have been "true to her soul".
