Former United States President Jimmy Carter voiced his views about Gay rights saying that no word or action of Jesus Christ discriminates against any individual.
Carter gave a speech at Michigan's Grand Rapids Community College talking about his Christian theology in relation to human rights.
He compared discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation to prejudice against a person's skin colour, economic class or nationality, reported the Huffington Post.
The former U.S. President also said that discrimination against anyone is a violation of the American constitution.
Carter is a devout Christian and teaches at Georgia's Maranatha Baptist church.
