A UK company is making the story of an 18-year-old sex slave, who escaped Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), into a movie.

According to the Daily Star, Farida Abbas was captured in the mountains of northern Iraq when ISIS militants stormed her Yazidi village.

Farida said that she was determined she would write a book one day about all the things that "those monsters" did to her and her friends.

Hollywood studios are lining up to secure the movie rights.

The news came as it emerged that children as young as 12 years old are undergoing de-radicalisation counselling to stop them from becoming terrorists.
