Jammu and Kashmir may witness light rainfall tomorrow according to the Meteorological Department, although the Met department has clarified that there is no reason to panic yet.
"There is nothing to be panicky about; there are chances of light rain in Jammu division tomorrow, but it will be less than one centimeter. Srinagar might witness a moderate rainfall but the intensity will be very light," said Charan Singh, a MET department official.
Over 1,42,000 persons have been rescued so far by the armed forces and NDRF from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir in the ongoing rescue and relief operations in the flood ravaged state, although rains today have halted the relief and rescue operations.
