Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina, was arrested for drunk driving in Long Island, New York, after her blood alcohol level was found to be more than twice the legal limit.
The 50-year-old TV personality's BMW was pulled over by the police on the the Northern State Parkway, after she was allegedly crossing the speed limit, TMZ.com reported.
According to the police officials, she appeared intoxicated and her blood alcohol was revealed to be .20, which is a lot more than the legal limit of .08.
The cops also said that Lohan alleged that she was injured during the course of the arrest.
She later recanted her claim when medical personnel responded to the scene and found that she was fine.
Lohan, who is due back in court in the end of September, has been booked on the counts of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
