Live Quiz platforms- taking over India's internet

From being live on the Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat, netizens are now exploring a new kind of live platform 'live quiz apps'.

These platforms bring live quiz shows, and keeps the audience engaged.

They not only allow people to test their grey matter while trying to answer interesting questions but comment and interact with other players and hosts.

Here are some Quiz apps that are gaining popularity:

LiveMe's Quizbiz

QuizBiz has been developed by Cheetah Mobiles (known for popular utility apps like Clean Master, CM Security and Battery Doctor) and is available for playing on Live.me (a live broadcasting app). The quiz is held daily at 9 pm and the cash prize ranges between $200 and $10,000; on weekends, the show is hosted by popular celebrities like TV actor Gaurav Gera.

The format of Loco is simple: It invites users to play a quiz in real time and lets them earn "real cash" if they answer all 10 questions correctly. The quiz takes place twice (1:30 pm and 10 pm) on weekdays, and once (10 pm) on weekends.

Bigo Live's OMG QUIZ

BIGO LIVE, a Singapore-based popular live video streaming application and UC News, a news and content aggregation platform by the Alibaba Mobile Business Group, collaborated to launch OMG QUIZ in India for the first time.

Brain Bazzi

Times Internet-backed Brain Baazi, has notched up five million downloads on Android in less than six months. The Brain Baazi quiz is run every weekday at 1 pm and 9 pm, and at 9 pm only on weekends.
