Liverpool recorded their fifth straight Premier League win as Brendan Rodgers' side defeated a stubborn Swansea side 1-0 to reduce gaps to within two points of the league's top-four spot on Monday night.
Following a goalless first-half, Jordan Henderson's deflected goal put below-par Liverpool side ahead in the 68th minute, which eventually turned out to be the winning goal for the Steven Gerrard-led side, the BBC reported.
With the win, Liverpool are fifth in the points table, two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who they host on Sunday.
