South Africa all-rounder Vernon Philander has expressed his confidence ahead of his side's second Test of the four-match series against India, saying that they have learned a lot from the conditions in the last game and are looking forward to a brand new match.

Reflecting on his performance, Philander said that he is currently satisfied with his game and is just looking forward to the upcoming match.

The 30-year-old admitted that his entire team needs to contribute with the bat, adding that each and every run is extremely important to win the game,Sport24 reported.

South Africa is currently trailing 0-1 in the series against India following their 108-run defeat in the first Test in Mohali.
