Taking a jibe at the AAP Government, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said the people can expect lot of noise, wild accusations, lot of tweets, persecution mentality, but no work and no governance during Arvind Kejriwal's tenure.
"Who's begging, I don't know. Kejriwal can say anything. I think the people of Delhi will now have to reconcile that in his tenure we can expect lot of noise, all sorts of wild accusations, lot of tweets, persecution mentality...but no work and no governance," BJP leader Nalin Kohli told ANI.
Kejriwal had earlier alleged that the BJP is begging for an apology from him.
"BJP almost begging me for an apology. Sorry. I won't oblige them. Let Jaitley ji be cross-examined in defamation cases. Let truth prevail," he tweeted.
The BJP has asked Kejriwal to apologise to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for levelling false allegations against him in connection with the DDCA case.
The AAP has, however, accused the BJP of attempting to falsely project that the Delhi government's probe panel report has given a clean chit to Jaitley in the DDCA case.
In a statement, the party said the city government has on the basis of the panel's recommendations set-up a Commission of Inquiry to probe the alleged irregularities.
