British intelligence agency M16 has joined hunt for the lost Malaysian jet, sparking fresh fears it was downed by terrorists.
Malaysian transport minister Hishammuddin Hussein revealed that British and US spies were now helping search for the jet.
According to the Daily Star, Hussein however refused to confirm the theory that the plane may have been downed by Islamic militants or political extremists.
He insisted that there was a wide range of possibilities, including 'psychological problems or technical failures'.
