The army on Thursday bid farewell to slain brave heart Grenadier Manoj Kumar Kushwah with full military honours at his native village of Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh.
Kushwah was killed along the Line of Control in the Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on November 22.
Grenadier Kushwaha is survived by his wife and two young children.
Huge crowd gathered to pay respects to the slain soldier.
The Army also paid rich tribute to Riflemen Prabhu Singh and Shashank Kumar Singh yesterday.
Chinar Corps Commander Lieutenant General J.S. Sandhu and all ranks paid their homage to the martyrs in a solemn wreath laying ceremony held in B.B. Cantt Srinagar on Wednesday.
