Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss, who stars in a new show called 'Top Of The Lake', admitted that going nude in the series was a major decision for her.
From the acclaimed director of Te Piano and her co-director Garth Davis, it's a seven-part murder mystery set in an eerie New Zealand hinterland of dark lakes surrounded by vertiginous mountains.
Moss plays Robin Grifn, a Sydney-based detective on a visit home to the village of Laketop to see her cancer-stricken mum, the Daily Express reported.
With expertise in child-related cases, she is called upon to help the police investigate the disappearance of a 12-year-old pregnant girl called Tui Mitcham ( Jacqueline Joe).
As much as she desired the role of Robin, the actress, who grew up in Los Angeles, was hesitant about accepting at first, given it required a lively alfresco sex scene.
However, she said that the directors made sure she was comfortable with every shot.
