Stating that the Devendra Fadnavis-led Maharashtra Government was working as per the 'anti-minority' agenda of the RSS and the BJP, the Congress party on Thursday accused the former of being 'dictatorial'.
"The Maharashtra Government is working as per the agenda of the RSS and the BJP. It is working as a dictatorial government which decides what the people of Maharashtra are going to eat, what they would study, what they would watch and this clearly shows it is pursuing the agenda of the BJP and the RSS, which is clearly anti-minority," Congress spokesperson Shobha Oza told ANI.
In a controversial move, madrassas have been derecognised as formal schools in Maharashtra, which has directed the district administrations to declare their students 'out-of-school children'.
