NBA legend Magic Johnson has said that Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who has been banned for life by the league for his racist remarks, is living in the 'stone ages' in his attitudes about minorities.
Sterling had lashed out a Johnson during a CNN interview broadcast, saying that the former LA Lakers player is not a good role model for the children of Los Angeles while alluding to the NBA legend's HIV-positive diagnosis.
According to ABC News, Johnson said that he had been shocked that such a prominent man like Sterling would have such ignorant views on HIV and AIDS.
Johnson said that he did not know how he got stuck in the middle of a personal dispute between Sterling and V. Stiviano, who had recorded the LA Clippers owner's racist comments and posted a picture of herself with the NBA legend on Instagram.
Sterling was reportedly supposed to be apologizing for his racist remarks while making his first public comments during the CNN interview since the incident, but the LA Clippers owner instead lashed out at Johnson saying that what kind of guy goes to every city, has sex with every girl and then catches HIV.
