Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday inaugurated the renovated Taraporevala Aquarium, one of the city's oldest aquariums.
After the inauguration, Fadnavis took to twitter to encourage visitors to visit the aquarium.
"Inaugurated newly renovated Taraporewala Aquarium in Mumbai,this morning. It is one of the best in country. Do visit!" he wrote, also posting pictures of the inauguration.
The Taraporevala Aquarium will be host to a reported 2,000 fish of over 400 species and has been renovated at a cost of Rs 22 crore.
