Amid uncertainty over the formation of the government in Maharashtra, a poster calling for Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray to be made the Chief Minister of the state has been put up outside Matoshree.
Matoshree is the residence of Uddhav Thackeray.
"Maharashtra needs Uddhav Thackeray as CM. It is a wish of Shiv Sainik (party workers) that there should be a Chief Minister from Shiv Sena," reads the poster put up by the Shiv Sena workers on Sunday.
This is not the first time when a poster has appeared calling for the Shiv Sena leader to be made the Chief Minister of the state.
On November 5 a poster with the picture of Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray -- reading 'My MLA, My Chief Minister' -- was put up outside Matoshree.
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari on Saturday asked the caretaker Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis to "indicate the willingness and ability of his party to form the government in Maharashtra".
On Sunday, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that if no other party is willing to form the government in Maharashtra then, his party is ready to stake the claim to form the government.
