Malaysia Airlines has backed Nick Kyrgios, saying the controversial Australian player is working out 'very well' as their ambassador despite having a bad boy image in the world of tennis.
The 20-year-old was slapped with a suspended ban and 25,000 dollars as fine by the ATP Tour for passing a lewd remark to Stan Wawrinka during their Rogers Cup clash.
According to News.com.au, airline boss Christoph Mueller hinted that Kyrgios' antics and consequent social media comments were of same help to the airline as weekly updates on the MH370 search.
Mueller also likened Kyrgios with legend John McEnroe, saying the former is similar in nature to the American.
