The Malaysian government and Inmarsat have released raw data from communications between satellites and missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

The data has been made public following requests by families of some of the passengers on the ill-fated jet.

According to CNN, Malaysian authorities published a 47-page document containing hundreds of lines of communication logs between the jetliner and the British company Inmarsat's satellite system.

Some passenger family representatives, unsatisfied by official explanations of the plane's fate, say they will now send the complex information on to independent experts for analysis.

Earlier, Inmarsat and Malaysian officials had announced that they were working to make available the MH370 raw satellite data to the public soon.

The declaration comes as a relief to families of the missing Malaysia Airline plane victims, who have been seeking information regarding the ill-fated jet for long.

Inmarsat, the company whose satellites communicated with the missing plane in its last hours had previously said that it didn't have the authority to release the satellite data.
