A special meeting will be convened on January 24 to elect the 16th King of Malaysia, after Muhammad V resigned on January 6.
The decision was taken during a meeting held on Monday in the wake of the 15th 'Yang di-Pertuan Agong's' resignation, according to the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad.
