Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak is facing criticism for indulging in the game of golf in Hawaii while thousands of Malaysians are fleeing their homes to escape massive floods in the country.
According to The Washington Post, Najib was in Hawaii on a vacation at the same time as US President Barack Obama, and the White House said the president invited the prime minister for a round.
Najib's Facebook page was reportedly flooded with angry comments from visibly infuriated Malaysians.
Many Malaysians took to Twitter to protest against the prime minister's untimely vacation trip and called on him to return to the homeland and deal with the floods that have displaced tens of thousands of people.
