Manchester United are on the lookout for Robert Lewandowski and Bastian Schweinsteiger as the Premier League club is reportedly alert that Bayern Munich could be willing to offload their striker and midfielder respectively.
The two are firm favourites among fans but Atletico Madrid have already made enquiries for the striker-midfielder duo, with boss Pep Guardiola considering whether they are key to his plans.
United have a long-held interest in Lewandowski and the Old Trafford outfit's former boss David Moyes expressed interest in signing powerful Schweinsteiger, The Daily Star reported.
The Germany midfielder is understood to not have the best relationship with United chief Louis van Gaal from their time together at Bayern but would be available for around 10 million pounds, while striker Lewandowski, who joined Bayern on a free transfer, is on wages of around 2,00,000 pounds-a-week, the report added.
