Manchester United has managed to escape three successive home defeats in a season for the first time in over 50 years by beating Swansea City 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.

The victory was a welcome one for manager David Moyes, with the Old Trafford side winning for the fifth time in six Premier League games this season.

According to Sport24, although United lacked creativity for the opening 45 minutes with Swansea in possession, however, teen sensation Adnan Januzaj inspired the hosts to victory and ended their wretched run of four defeats in their past six home games.

Danny Welbeck scored their second one and has now hit the target six times in six games, while Antonio Valencia was also on target at the start of the second half, the report added.
