Id-ul-Fitr was celebrated in Manipur today amid gaiety and splendour. Prayers were held at all the mosques and feasts were also organized.

On this occasion Muslims are enjoined to give sadqah fitr, a specific amount, to the poor so that they could also celebrate the festival.
