One police officer and three civilians were killed in a series of shootings on Wednesday afternoon in Marathon County, according to the Police.
In a news conference Wednesday night, the police confirmed one person is in custody and there are no more threats, according to a report in Fox 11 News.
The first shooting occurred around 1:00 p.m., when someone reported shots being fired at Marathon Savings Bank in Rothschild.
About 10 minutes later, police received a call for shots fired at Tlusty, Kennedy and Dirks law office in Schofield, which is less than two miles away from the bank.
A few minutes later, police were called to Aspen Street Apartments, about two miles from the law office. About a dozen gunshots were heard around 5:00 p.m., according to reports.
Police believe the incidents are domestic related, but provided few details beyond.
Schools in the D.C. Everest School District were put on lockdown for a few hours and a number of residents were evacuated from one of the scenes.
