Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon had a prenup agreement with a confidentiality clause, which if violated would cost the singer twice as much than it would her hubby.
According to TMZ.com, Carey, 44 already had major bucks when she married, and if the confidentiality clause is dishonored, while he would have to pay her only 250,000 dollars penalty, the 'All I Want For Chritsmas Is You' songstress would pay him only 500,000 dollars.
As per the prenup, Carey is worth 150 million dollars, where 30 million dollars is listed as just "miscellaneous," and Cannon, 34, had not even 500,000 dollars at the time of their marriage in 2008.
Though the TV show host has done well ever since, and had bought her an engagement ring for 500,000 dollars, which was reportedly worth 2.5 million dollars, he had taken a loan out for 470,000 dollars for it.
The full property settlement agreement of the couple, who has 3-year-old twins together, has been worked out.
