A report has said that derogatory advertisements aimed at Muslims are being covered with pictures of Marvel's infamous Muslim superhero on San Francisco buses.

Posters carrying anti-Islamic/Jew slogans have been covered with messages of "acceptance and courtesy" on behalf of Marvel's superhero, Kamala Khan, reported the Dawn.

The posters originally spread Muslim hatred by equating Muslims with Nazis and by condemning the aid given to Muslim countries by the United States.

However, the hatred campaign came to an end with the arrival of Kamala Khan.

The superhero hogged limelights for being the American publishing giant's debut Muslim superhero and was titled "Ms Marvel" in 2013.

Campaigns promoting intolerance against Muslims are on the rise, especially in Europe, after terrorists killed 12 people at French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo's office in Paris.
