Hollywood actress Mary J. Blige will star in an upcoming horror-thriller movie 'Body Cam'.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, she scored two Oscar nominations for her acting in 'Mudbound'.
The Hollywood Reporter further confirmed that Malik Vitthal, who had previously directed the 2014 John Boyega crime drama- 'Imperial Dreams', will direct this flick.
The horror-thriller is the story of several LAPD police officers, who are haunted by an evil spirit which is connected to a murder of a black youth by two white cops.
Blige will play the role of an officer who starts to investigate the case after having visions of the murder.
She is currently working for Netflix's comic adaptation of 'The Umbrella Academy'.
The horror-thriller is being produced by Paramount's Paramount Players division.
