Ace Indian boxer Mary Kom feels if there is a sequel to her biopic, then this time, she herself will be portraying her character.
"If part two of Mary Kom comes, then I will take my own role. I will not give it to anyone," said the 33-year-old boxer during a media interaction in the national capital.
'Mary Kom' is a 2014 movie directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The film, with Priyanka Chopra in the lead, was premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, becoming the first Hindi film to be screened on the opening night of the festival.
'Mary Kom' won the 'Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment' honour at the 62nd National Film Awards and was nominated at the 60th Filmfare Awards in the 'Best Film' and the 'Best Actress' categories.
