Sri Lankan skipper Angelo Mathews and his deputy Dinesh Chandimal have declared themselves fit for the upcoming tour to South Africa that begins in mid-December.
The duo made the announcement during Sri Lanka Cricket's (SLC) Dialog Cricketer of the Year award ceremony held in Colombo on Wednesday night, reports ESPNcricinfo.
Rangana Herath and Upul Tharanga had to lead the Tests and ODI sides respectively on the recent tour of Zimbabwe in absence of Mathews and Chandimal.
The Lankan skipper was recovering from multiple leg injuries including a torn calf, while his deputy had undergone surgery on his right hand after suffering "multiple dislocations around the thumb area."
Sri Lanka are scheduled to play three-match Test series, three T20Is and five ODIs beginning at St. George's Oval on December 26.
