Matt Damon is all set to take a year-long break from acting as he wants to spend more family time after "dragging them all over the world" for film shoots.
"They're really good sports. They're great travellers," Damon explained of wife Luciana Barroso and their daughters, adding, "But I'm excited to finish this year of work and take a year off and be at their behest for once," reports News.com.au.
While speaking on the Today show recently, the 45-year-old actor further said, "I took a bunch of roles in a row. I've done four straight movies in a row and I have one more to go."
Damon's latest installment of the Bourne franchise, 'Jason Bourne,' was released in the theaters on July 28.
Somewhere during the interview, the actor even shared his experience of meeting Prof. Stephens Hawkins, who visited the actor on his set of 'Jason Bourne.'
"We were shooting in Tenerif in the Canary Islands for Jason Bourne and they were doing this event honouring Stephen Hawking and Prof. Hawking came on the set that day. It was amazing. We kind of shut down everything for few minutes and everybody went to say hello," he said.
