Matthew Broderick recently stated that he is fine if his wife Sarah Jessica Parker reconnects with her former partner Robert Downey Jr., it has been reported.
It all started when the 'Iron Man' star recently admitted that he wants to contact Jessica Parker and would seek Broderick's permission to see her for a while, Us Magazine reported.
To which, the 52-year-old actor, who was supported by his wife at the opening night of his new Broadway endeavor, it's Only a Play, in New York City, reverted that he was more than open to allowing the former flames a catch-up.
In fact, the 'Sex and City' star, who was also on board, said that they both have always been on wonderful terms so, of course she would be hospitable to the plan.
The former-couple dated from when they were 18 to their mid-20s after meeting on the set of Firstborn in 1984. The 49-year-old actress split from 'The Judge' actor over his repeated drug and alcohol abuse.
