Five-weight World champion Floyd Mayweather has said that he is unbeatable and is convinced that he will beat Mexican Saul Canelo Alvarez in the richest fight of all time.

According to The Daily Star, Mayweather pulled no punches as he hit back at claims from Amir Khan, amongst others, that he only picks opponents he knows he can beat.

The boxer said that he is the last of a breed and is a winner, adding that he has always come up against top people and defeated them, being the best in the business.

Alvarez is also unbeaten and, at 23, is 13 years Mayweather's junior, the report said.

Alvarez's WBC and WBA light-middleweight belts will be at stake in a catch-weight contest made at 152lb, the report added.

However, Mayweather, who has eight world titles under his belt, has no doubts about the result, the report further said.

He said that he will be able to handle the pressure and there was no doubt about it, adding that he was the strongest mental fighter in the sport.
