The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police here today arrested a man suspected to be an agent of Pakistan's Inter-Services-Intelligence (ISI) agency.
The arrested man has been identified to as Asif Ali. The police have recovered secret documents pertaining to Indian Army. Apart from that three mobile handsets, six sim-cards were also confiscated from the suspected ISI agent.
Speaking to the media, Superintendent-of-Police (SP), Uttar Pradesh STF, Umesh Kumar said, "The person named Asif Ali has been caught. His wife is in Pakistan. He was working as a cover. He has many bank accounts and he used to transfer money in his Pakistani associates. We have found his own passports and he was told that with the help of that he could get his sim card. He was also asked to give a laptop to a person and when the laptop will get connected to internet then whole information could be hacked out of it. He is a very important person and much information have been found through him.
